What this site is about
I’m Vojtěch Krejčíř, and technology is both my profession and my daily reality. As an integrator, I always strive to find the most suitable solution. In building automation, I enjoy using and combining proven and reliable platforms such as KNX, Loxone, MyTEM, and Eaton EasyE4. On krejcir.tech I write about things I have personally tested and verified in practice — from energy management and smart homes to the IT tools that make my work easier.

Shifting from IT to Automation
Most of my professional life has been spent working with corporate information systems – databases, integrations, and Microsoft 365.
Over the past three years, however, I’ve been gradually returning to my roots – focusing on electrical engineering, building automation, FVE integration, and data collection and visualization using SCADA, InfluxDB, or Grafana.

Having Loxone, KNX, or another professional automation system doesn’t automatically make your home truly smart. The system is just a tool – without a proper plan, even the best hardware can end up being completely useless.
